      Dear GV,

When I was a young girl, I wanted to be a hair and make-up artist or an astronaut.
I still want to be an astronaut (either me or my robots will hopefully go into space one day).

I really really love what I do, so I don’t see me changing careers unless I really had to.

If there was some unforeseen reason that meant I could no longer be an engineer, I would most likely go into politics.

One of the reasons I love engineering so much is that it has a real impact on people’s lives and I want to use this to do good. If I was unable to help people with engineering, I would try and do it through politics.

So to answer you questions, I hope that I can continue to be a robot engineer for ever, but if I was forced to change, I would maybe become an environmental activist or a campaigner for the right’s of women and girls throughout the world.

      Hope this helps,

      Siobhan

I wouldn’t change my job. I love it! But if I would have to do it, I would choose probably teacher, or something that is still related with engineering or technology.

I might move between the academia and a small or medium-sized company, but I’d like my focus to remain on home/personal robotics.

If I had to choose an unrelated field, I’d probably go into auditing, or library work – I love digging into documents to investigate stuff!
