• Question: When you make a robot do they always go as planned ?

      It never goes as planned from the first time. Or even from the second time. That is why we call them experiments. When we do not get the result we want or the result we were expecting, we have to go back, evaluate our work and try to fix it.

      It’s usually a dream come true, when you *get* the robot to do what was intended. Beyond some very simple tasks, it takes time both for yourself to learn how robots interpret your commands and for the robots to act as intended.

      Once you are experienced – things get easier.

      Sometimes it’s actually a benefit, if robot performs differently from what you intended, as it helps you discover new things.
