• Question: what gave you the idea to help car companies to build their cars?

      I think it’s one of those things that starts off small and gradually gets more and more advanced.

      The very first cars would all have been built by hand, and some like the cars still are. Building a car completely by hand takes a long time (several days if not weeks). In the UK 2.6 Million new cars were registered last year.

      To meet that kind of demand, car companies need to build their cars quickly – in just a few minutes. Humans just aren’t fast or strong enough to cope with that, so people started to think of ways to make it quicker. From that the idea to use robots to lift and move the panels and parts was created.
