It is about 85% like I expected. I always so engineering as a field that is always changing and I knew that becoming an engineer will suit me perfectly, as I do not like to do the same thing over and over again. What I did not expect was for it to be so much work. It is a lot more work than I expected, and I even have to work during weekends sometimes. In a way, it is so much work because I get involved in different activities, that are not actually related with my main project. But I definitely enjoy it.

I didn’t really know what I was expecting when I started my most recent job (3 years ago).

Before I became a sales engineer, I working in manufacturing, computer coding and as a car designer. I wanted a job that would allow me to travel and to talk to lots of people. I’d never worked with robots before though.

I do travel quite a bit and I have lots of lovely customers I visit regularly, so that bit is almost better than I hoped for. Working with robots is actually far more interesting than I expected!
