I trust the companies I buy robots from to care that the production of their robots is as sustainable as it can be.

Some of my colleagues design robots made form recycled wood, instead of plastic, which helps.

The university I work in also has a sustainability policy.

So, all in all, sustainability is here in every aspect.

More an more companies try to be as environment friendly as possible. I think the bigger a company is, the less chances are for it to be bio. If the company has to be involved in mass production, it will be difficult to have a bio factory. At least for the moment.

When we design a new robot factory to build cars, one of the things we are measured on is sustainability and environmental impact.

We design our robots and tooling to be made from recycled material if we can. We also design them to use as little electricity as possible and give out the minimum amount of heat.
