I actually do. I’ve been to quite a few conferences and I had to give quite a few talks about my research for different events. For example, this week I am giving two lectures, and I am presenting at the Big Bang Fair Near Me.

Oh yeah, teaching students is actually one of the more exciting things, especially if students are interested to know what you do!

Conferences are exciting too! The best part for me is not the presentation itself, however, but people who come to talk to you afterwards, share their ideas on your work, and maybe even collaborate with you on a future project!

I like talking, so I love giving presentations and lectures on engineering.

When I was at school we had lots of people from different careers come and talk to us to help us decide what job we wanted to do. I found it so helpful, so I think it’s really important to keep this going to inspire some future engineers.
