• Question: Are there any engineers, you may of looked up to them in your childhood or career, that maybe you'd like to work with in your or their fields of specialty? Or maybe is there another engineer you're competing against you'd like to do a collabaration with in the future?

There are engineers that I used as my models, however I will not be able to work with them as they were a part of a different era. But if I would have to choose someone I would like to work with, I would probably choose Bill Gates.

I have a good number of engineers I’d like to collaborate with!

Cynthia Breazeal, for example, is a big name in my field, and she is also the person behind Jibo (https://www.jibo.com) – one of the robots I’d love to test!

Maartje M.A. de Graaf is another person I’d love to work with, and I look very closely at what she writes about social domestic robots!

From the days of old, Da Vinci was a fantastic inventor, and a classical polymath (a person who is an expert in many different things). I’d love to be a polymath myself 🙂

When I was little I loved cars and motorsport, so always looked up to the great F1 car engineers like Adrian Newey, Ross Brawn and Patrick Head.

I’m lucky that I got to meet Patrick Head a few times when I worked at Williams – he was just as amazingly clever as I expected!
