• Question: What would the housemate robots be able to do?

      From what I’ve seen, right now housemate robots can’t do more than your phone, tablet or laptop can.

      There is, however, a desire for robots to be able to physically move things around, do cooking and cleaning, help with studying and play games with you.

      Ideally, a housemate robot should be able to play, learn, understand what you want, and share its own thoughts with you. We have something like this in the laboratories right now, but it’s gonna be some time before they are ready for homes.
