This is a cool question thanks.

Everything I make whilst I am at university belongs to the university, so I can’t take it home unfortunately.

But things I build at home, they belong to me 🙂

I am building a robot in my spare time which I will use to drive around my house, taking videos of my cats, to see what they do when I am not there.

But at uni, I use university money to pay for all of the parts that my robots are made from, so they have to stay at uni.

So far I have only built two robots, however this summer I am planning on building 5 robots that are exactly the same, in order to test out some of my theories about swarm robots. 🙂

But as part of my job, I get to meet lots of cool robots and play with them sometimes. You can see some of them on my profile /roboticsm17-zone/profile/siobhanduncan/

But I don’t get to take any of those ones home 🙁

I haven’t built a robot yet, as this was not part of my PhD. I am just working on the control part of the robots. However, if a robot is bought by the university, or if it was build with parts bought by the university, the robot belongs to the university.
