• Question: Do you believe that nanorobotics will ever be able to compete with molecular nanotechnology, taking into account the fact that their protein dynamics have not yet been outdone by any other molecular machines ever artificially constructed?

We are taking engineering inspiration from nature a lot, I don’t see nanorobotics being any different 🙂 Nature had millions of years to come up with effective nano-tech, so if we ever to outdo it in this field – it’s gonna take a while.

We may even end up just using plane biological machinery, instead of coming up with something artificial. We already use viruses to change DNA in bacteria, and I think I’ve seen the news that DNA can store way more information than even the best storage solutions that exist for IT today.
